Okay, so when it comes to sound quality, this frankly is the most exciting thing about the Cloud 3S now because the older one, it was technically less exciting because the older Cloud 3 was kind of a boring sound, but relatively safe and very easy to use for a wide variety of content. This just takes things to another level. Now, I use ear simulator. It's a Gross KB00006x panone IC711 coupler clone. You don't have to know what that means. It's basically just a just a type of ear simulator and it's how it hears what this headset sounds like. So, don't compare my measurements to someone else's uh simulator. They probably don't have the exact same rig. Having said that, I have a link in the description below with hundreds and hundreds of headset and headphone measurements to uh compare against. Having said all that, looking at the measurements of the Cloud 3S, if you are familiar with measurements, you will see that this is a very exciting thing because this is how it comes out of the box. This is one of the best measuring headsets I have ever used without needing any EQ. It goes toe-to-toe with the Odyssey Maxwell and the Astro A50 Gen 5 and X. And this is why I love measurements cuz it's not just me telling you this. The way my rig hears it. It looks fantastic. And it sounds great, too. It's not perfect. My personal taste is I'm a little sensitive to 8000 hertz. And I feel it comes in a little bit spicier than even what my measurements show there. So basically what HyperX did was when you look at the measurements of the older Cloud 3, they boosted the bass and they boosted the upper mids and treble, which are basically the two biggest complaints on the older Cloud 3. Some gamers that have been with HyperX forever are upgrading from the older clouds, uh, Cloud 2, stuff that used, um, different branded headsets when HyperX had nothing to do with, uh, uh, HP. So when they went from those older headsets and it was like a Tacstar 80 I think it was and then they upgraded to a new Cloud 3, it sounded boring in comparison cuz they were missing that bass and some of the clarity. To me, this is a big improvement there. It's not that the Cloud 3 was ever bad. It was just kind of boring and safe and a lot of gamers just wanted more immersive sound. They totally uh got that with this. And thankfully because there's built-in EQ that is savable now to the headset, you can boost bass even more or refine your.... diye gidiyor
